The Ross Elkhay Foundation was founded in 2000 by John & Suzanne Elkhay after their son Ross passed away from Cystic Fibrosis
at the age of 12.
The Ross Elkhay Foundation is dedicated to honoring the memory of Ross by raising money
for deserving children and their families living with life altering or terminal disease.
To ease the financial stress a disease can create on a family, the Ross Elkhay Foundation
can help with outstanding medical expenses or can give the child a break from the disease
and give him or her the chance to do the things children should do – have fun!
Each year the Ross Elkhay Foundation holds a fundraiser which includes a raffle, silent wine auction,
and a live auction. This year’s event will be held in early September. The Ross Elkhay Foundation has recently embarked
on a new project inspired by Ross' love to fish, and the need for a fishing area that enables handicap children and their families to enjoy this favorite past time.
All monies raised from our fundraising events will go towards the construction of an ADA compliant fishing pier and a catch and release fishing area on Gordon's Pond located in Warwick, RI.
